  1. Hi Shirl 🙂 Sorry to have been AWOL for a while I am seriously struggling with blogging 🙁 I love the colour of the geranium, so pretty!

No idea how I missed the gorgeous Small Tort photo back in July??!!! ! Really lovely and very scarce here this year.

  2. Hello everyone, I hope you’ve all had a good week 🙂

Rohrerbot, it’s always brilliant to hear from someone who can see a plant species in my garden out in the wild – especially on a mountain. I’m guessing the flower would be smaller in exposed sites. Thanks – you enjoy yours too 😀

Costa, exactly, it’s always difficult to reproduce these violet blue tones in a photo but I think this is pretty close 🙂

Lisa, I bet you could. Don’t know how the geranium would do in drought but I guess if it grows on mountains it should be ok. These blue flowers are supposed to have a long flowering period and I’m pleased with it so far and when it grows into a bigger plant it should be even better 😀

Jan, absolutely no need to apologise, I can understand what it can be like. I’ve been lean on postings and blog browsing myself this year. Ah… I’m delighted to report that once these small tortoiseshells started coming they became regulars for a few days (weather pending). One day I was thrilled to see 4 on the same plant which is a bit of a record for my garden. Hope you see some yourself before the season gets too cold 🙂
